Protecting your privacy is of special importance to us; that being said, we exclusively process your data in conformity with the applicable law (GDPR, Austrian Telecommunications Act -2003). The following privacy policy statement informs you about the most relevant aspects of data processing within the scope of our Website.

2. Collection of personal data

Upon visiting our website, we merely store access data via so-called server-log files; these are data your browser automatically provides, without any specific reference to individuals, that is:

  • Type/version of browser
  • Language setting of browser
  • Operating system in place
  • Referrer-URL (previously visited page)
  • Host name of the accessing computer (IP-Address)
  • Time and date of server query

These data cannot be traced to any specific individuals; furthermore, the data are not combined with other data sources; besides, these data are deleted after a statistical analysis. To this end, user traffic on our website is stored in server log files, including the IP–address; these log files are prepared monthly for statistical purposes by way of an analysis software and subsequently deleted; we have no way of tracing these data to any specific individual while using them.
Some functional features on our website ask the user to state personal data such as name, e-mail address etc; name and other data may be provided voluntarily here.


We process your data on servers located in Austria, hence within the purview of the EU Data Protection framework; however, we would also like to call your attention to potential exemptions set forth in point 5 of the present Privacy Policy statement (“Google Analytics“) if third-party providers employ tools with their servers located abroad.


3. Data Collection

If you grant your consent to collecting data, we will collect and process the following personal data, in addition to the data specified above.

If you granted your consent to using personal data for special purposes subject to a consent requirement, you may withdraw this consent at any time; in such case, we immediately delete these very data; you may have the right to restrict the consent regarding the use of your data; in that case, only data within the scope of your restriction will be deleted.


E-mail addresses provided while contacting us will solely be used for the purpose of replying to your request or inquiry; if you do wish to communicate with us via a different e-mail address, you may want to apprise us of this fact. The electronic means of communications you furnish to us constitute your express request for the purpose of communicating with us and will therefore not be checked by .CONSULTATIO for compliance with applicable data protection provisions.


Intended Use
We use your personal data for the following purposes: to render services you requested, particularly to receive your inquiry and/or registration and attend to them.


4. Data Processing on behalf

Based on a separate agreement concerning the processing of personal data on behalf your data (as set forth in point 2) will be collected, processed and used by our web host Rack7 GmbH (https://www.rack7.net) within the purview of processing data on behalf as set forth in Art 28 GDPR in conformity with the respective applicable provisions; access data are exclusively stored on servers located in Austria; however, this does not imply a transfer of your data to a third party in terms of data protection; it is CONSULTATIO that is accountable to you in terms of data protection.


5. Rights of individuals concerned

a) The right to withdraw consent
You have the right to withdraw or revoke your consent to storing your personal data at any time; as well, you have the right to revoke, at any time, the consent to collecting and storing any additional data you provided voluntarily. We would like to point out that we check your identity for the purpose of protecting your privacy and security before you may adopt any such measures. If you want to withdraw your consent as to the future use of your data and/or wish to revoke your consent granted, you want to turn to the following address, ideally by supplying a copy of your ID: datenschutz@consultatio.at; in the event you revoke your consent to storing, processing, and using your personal data, we will immediately erase and block access to them.


b) Erasure, deletion (“the right to be forgotten“), and rectification of your personal Data
You also have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data we have stored, to withdraw consent, to have access blocked to them, to have them erased and to have them rectified, respectively; in addition, you also have the right to get your data transferred to other parties.


c) The right to obtain information
You may request to obtain information from us whether and to what extent we process your data.


d) The Right to lodge a complaint
In case you think that we are violating Austrian or European Data Protection Law while processing your data, we may ask you to contact us in order to clear up any pending issues; it goes without saying that you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority, and a Supervisory Authority within the EU, as of May 25, 2018, as well.


6. Privacy as to the use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. („Google“). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies“, text files that are stored on your computer and enable the analysis of your website use on the part of the website owner; the information generated by the cookie about your use of the website are transferred to a Google server in the US and processed there. Google will use this information in order to analyze your way of using the website, to compile reports on website activities for the website provider, and to render additional services related to the website use and the internet use; as well, Google may, if need be, transfer this information to third parties so long as this is required by law or provided that the third parties process these data on behalf of Google; Google will by no means process your real IP address; rather, it receives solely anonymized IP addresses. 7. Privacy and Cookies

Our site uses cookies; small text files that enable specific, customized information on the user´s terminal while using the website; in particular, cookies lend themselves to determining the number of clicks and number of users of the pages, analyzing behavioural aspects of using the pages, and customizing our offerings; cookies remain stored until after the end of a browser session and may be reactivated while visiting the site again; If you do not wish to do so you may always change the browser setting so as to block or disable cookies altogether.


8. Data Retention

Personal data are stored over the course of the period pursuant to the applicable retention law; the respective data are subsequently routinely deleted so long as they are no longer required for the purpose of fulfilling or initiating a contract. In any event, pursuant to the Austrian Civil Code, data must be kept for up to 30 years in order to fend off legal claims within the purview of liability for damages or unjust enrichment.


9. Updating the pertinent provisions

CONSULTATIO reserves the right to amend, at any time, the current provisions according to the business requirements, if need be.
